Mumbai, 22 June 2026 – On the eve of celebrating 125 years in motorsport and over half a century of the RS badge, the Kodiaq RS has made a striking debut in India, selling out in just 6 minutes. Offered in an exclusive run of only 50 units, the Kodiaq RS was swiftly claimed by enthusiasts across the country. In line with Škoda Auto India’s ‘Surrender’ campaign, customers unequivocally surrendered to the Kodiaq RS’ compelling blend of motorsport pedigree, performance, luxury, and all-wheel-drive capability.
This response builds on the legacy of the Octavia RS, which sold out in just 20 minutes in 2025. Now, in 2026—the 51st anniversary of the RS badge—and 22 years since the RS lineage was introduced in India with the Octavia RS, the brand’s performance DNA continues to resonate strongly with enthusiasts.

Surrender to performance
The Kodiaq RS is powered by a 2.0 TSI engine delivering 195 kW (265 PS) and 400 Nm of torque. This performance is channeled to all four wheels via Škoda Auto’s acclaimed 7-speed DSG transmission. With a 0–100 km/h sprint time of just 6.3 seconds, the Kodiaq RS is the quickest Škoda ever in India, achieving a top speed of 231 km/h. The driving experience is further elevated by Dynamic Sound Boost, lending a more emotive character to the engine note.
Surrender to confidence
Enhancing both agility and control, the Kodiaq RS features Progressive Steering along with the latest-generation Dynamic Chassis Control Plus (DCC Plus). Together, they deliver improved steering precision, effortless low-speed maneuverability, and adaptability across varied driving conditions through multiple Driving Modes.
Signature RS design elements—including blacked-out exterior accents, a gloss black grille frame, black ORVMs, window trims, roof rails, and D-pillars—underscore its sporty and assertive stance.
Inside, the cabin combines sportiness with premium comfort, featuring black leather upholstery with distinctive red stitching. Customers can choose from four striking exterior colors: Moon White, Magic Black, Velvet Red, and Steel Grey.
