DUAL TRAINING PROGRAMS IN MECHATRONICS

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (ŠAVWIPL) Mechatronics programme is a highly engaging and educative platform that enables high school graduates and workers displaced from low-skilled jobs to learn new-age skills and become future-ready in the auto sector. The company has partnered with Indo German Chamber of Commerce for awarding the DIHK certificate on completion of the course and examinations, also with National Council for Vocational Training to conduct the All India Trade Test as well. The program offers a viable pathway to lucrative employment in the auto sector.

The three-and-a-half-year programme aims at enhancing the skills of apprentices in area of mechatronics engineering which includes mechanical, electrical, electronics and information technology. The apprentices will be empowered with on-the-job work experience at Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited to gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in areas including production, maintenance, planning, quality assurance and research & development. Additionally, there will be a classroom study in specialised trade schools including Project assignment. These candidates will spend 70 percent of their time in the workplace under supervision of a Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited certified trainers, and 30 percent in the classroom.

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited has conceptualized this internship, through which a young person contributes to the goals of the organization, grows and learns while still schooling. The program has been carefully curated keeping in mind the needs of our college going students. The program intends to provide knowledge, tools, skills, and experiences that an intern can readily apply to future challenges and professional pursuits.

Intern Responsibilities and Learning Objectives: This internship programs offers a hands on job training experience to the beneficiaries. The candidates can select their field of interest and work under great mentors and managers to gauge their expertise in the chosen field.
